Community Integration & Enrichment Support

At Marilyn’s Independent Living, we help residents stay engaged with a variety of social and recreational programs, including senior centers, community clubs, and groups focused on arts, hobbies, and fitness. We also provide support in connecting to employment resources, such as job training programs, resume assistance, and supported employment services. For those interested in learning and personal growth, residents have access to educational opportunities through continuing education classes, libraries, and adult learning centers. Our goal is to ensure that every resident can stay active, connected, and empowered in all areas of life.

Resource Navigation & Referral Services

We assist residents in identifying and applying for community and government programs, providing guidance every step of the way. Our Information & Referral (I&R) services connect individuals to a wide range of resources, including non-profit organizations, government agencies, advocacy groups, and Centers for Independent Living (CILs). We also offer access to legal aid services for seniors and people with disabilities, as well as benefits assistance for programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and veteran or disability benefits. Our goal is to make navigating these resources simple, so residents can get the support they need with confidence.
